Campaign Update: Our Email Outreach Efforts & What’s Next
Hello everyone!
Thank you to everyone who has been following, sharing, and supporting the Cancel Claressa Accountability Campaign & Boycott (CCACB) to help raise awareness about Claressa Shields’ behavior outside the ring. Your commitment to keeping sports culture accountable is what keeps this movement going.
We want to give you a transparent update on where our direct outreach efforts stand, what the data shows, and how we plan to shift our strategy moving forward.
The Data: Direct Outreach Summary
Over the last couple of months, we launched a targeted email campaign to major decision-makers, athletic commissions, promotional groups, and corporate partners in the boxing world.
As of July 17, 2026, here is the breakdown of our efforts:
- Total Emails Sent: 20
- Organizations Contacted: 14 (including the WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO, Salita Promotions, DAZN, and state athletic commissions)
- Response Rate: 0%

Unfortunately, every single one of our inquiries (except for DAZN) has either gone unanswered or returned an error status.
DAZN responded with an automatic reply and reference number, but failed to follow up.
Why the Silence?
While it is frustrating to see major networks, administrative bodies, and corporate sponsors ignore grassroots concerns, it is a realistic look at how corporate entities operate. Large bureaucracies routinely screen out unsolicited emails from the public, prioritizing internal business, legal representation, or mainstream press outlets.
Nevertheless, their silence isn’t a reflection of our message—it just shows how these organizations shield themselves from outside dialogue.
Pivoting Our Strategy: Moving from Private to Public
Since our direct email campaigns are filtered through A.I. and other security measures, we need to adapt. To truly raise awareness, we have to move our message into spaces where it cannot be quietly archived or ignored.
Moving forward, our campaign will focus on public visibility:
- Amplifying the Message on Social Media: We will continue to focus on sharing well-documented, verifiable facts on this website and across social channels using targeted hashtags to encourage broader community discussion.
- Creating Accessible Content: We will continue compiling public records, timeline reports, and informational graphics and videos so our network can easily share the facts.
- Community Alignment: Instead of trying to reach organizations that choose to ignore our efforts, we will focus on building digital connections with sports fans and community members who care about accountability outside the ring.
